Obituary of Alexander J Glodkowski Sr.

Alexander J Glodkowski Sr., 86 of Edison, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. He was born and raised in Manville, NJ and moved to Edison in 1958. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired Warehouse Supervisor for ABB in New Brunswick, NJ. His passions in life were family first, his tool collection, and a big bowl of ice cream. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, whom he always referred to as his bride, Gloria Mantuano Glodkowski. He is also survived by his sister, Josie Lancos, and her husband Frank; a son, Alexander Jr.; and two daughters, Kathy Collins and her husband, Rick, and Debbie Sullivan and her husband, Howie. He leaves behind five grandchildren, Kristen Reinhold and her husband, Nick, Justin Pickett, Jennifer Collins, and Kaitlin Pickett. He also leaves behind his little buddy and only great grandson Lucas Reinhold. Burial to take place at the Brigadier General William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. A Memorial Service will be arranged to celebrate his life at a later date.
