Obituary of Casey Jacunski

Casey Joseph Jacunski, 30, of NYC, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019. Casey was born December 25, 1988 in Perth Amboy, NJ. Casey grew up in North Brunswick, NJ surrounded by many friends, family and beloved cousins. Casey loved growing up amongst family. He loved camping and fishing with his father, going to Wildwood every year with his cousins and sister, and visiting his grandparents in Florida. Casey spent most of his adult life living in New York City. A free spirit, Casey loved the Grateful Dead and attending music festivals. He was a very talented artist who loved to draw. He was a loving son and brother.

Casey was predeceased by his mother, Tanya Rivera. He is survived by his father, Edward Jacunski and his wife Nicole; his sisters, Madalyn and Skyler; his paternal grandmother, Dolores Jacunski; maternal grandparents, Nanda and Joel Pearlman; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his son, Jade Jacunski Bloomfield. 

Casey requested to be cremated. His ashes will be spread at his favorite fishing spot, Sunfish Pond in Worthington State Forest.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 4-6PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick.
