Obituary of Elizabeth G. "Betty" Francis

Elizabeth G. “Betty” Francis, 91, of Somerset, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Betty was born in North Plainfield in 1927 to Louis and Helen Inciso. She was a beautician by trade; and was a parishioner of St. Matthias Church where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.

Betty was predeceased by her husband, John K. Francis in 2011; her sons, Michael and Gary Francis; 6 sisters, and 2 brothers. She is survived by her son, Patrick Francis and his wife Brenda; grandchildren, Colleen, Christine, Patrick, and Stephanie; along with 6 great grandchildren. Betty will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 3-7PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick. Everyone may gather Monday, January 20 at 8:30AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30AM at St. Matthias Church, Somerset. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children Hospital.
