Obituary of Patricia Murphy

Patricia Murphy, 88, passed away on Saturday May 26, 2018 at her home in Edison. She was born in Newark, NJ on March 17, 1930, daughter of John Lavin and Mary Donelan. Patricia was a homemaker her whole life always taking care of her family and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She was also a parishioner of St. Matthew the Apostle Church in Edison. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends

Patricia was predeceased by her dear husband, Raymond Murphy in 2001;  and both her parents.

She is survived by her son, Raymond of Edison; daughter, Patricia Holian and her husband Richard of Virginia; brother, Jack Lavin; sisters, Margaret Howard and Claire Grach;  grandchildren, Dawn Marie Iype, Laura Michele Linville, Kelly Anne Shapter, Erin Christine Murphy, Michael Patrick Holian, Kevin Patrick Murphy; along with 4 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 4 – 8PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison; and Thursday, 8:30AM at the funeral home with a 9:30AM Mass at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, Edison. Entombment will follow at Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway.
