Esther E. Fedchin (née Fijalkowski), 86, of Edison, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. She was born in Raritan, graduating from Somerville High School and was a resident of Edison most of her life. Mrs. Fedchin was a seamstress, running her own business from home, and serving many in the township. She was a member of the Edison Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by her husband Alexis Fedchin in 1996. Surviving are her son, James C. Fedchin and his wife Joanne of Pennington; daughter Debra A. Fedchin of East Brunswick; three grandchildren, Nadia Fedchin, Ryan McGurr and Sean McGurr and his wife Jessica; and one great grandchild, Colin McGurr. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Boylan Funeral Home 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 27 at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Iselin.
