Blanche G. Shlyk, 84, of Piscataway, passed away at home peacefully on February 11, 2017 with her family by her side. Born in 1932 to Michael and Zussanna Cservenyak, Blanche lived her entire life in the Piscataway area. After graduating high school Blanche worked for Johnson & Johnson as a Quality Control Technician until her retirement in 1987. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Blanche is predeceased by her parents, a brother and sister. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Alex Shlyk, son John of Piscataway, daughter and son-in-law Valentina and James Eledge of Piscataway; a sister Julie Pastor of Oceanport and sister in-law Valentina Benda. She is also survived by her two grandchildren: Courtney Eledge and fiancé Steven of Iselin; Dana Eledge and fiancé Shaun of Piscataway as well as many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to visit and celebrate her life on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 3-7PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick. A service will be held Tuesday evening at 6:00PM at the Funeral Home. Cremation will be private.
