Obituary of Robert Paulus

Robert William Paulus, 95, of Navesink, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Mr. Paulus was born in 1921 in New Brunswick, NJ, the only son of William Edward Paulus and Elizabeth Conlon Paulus. He was a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point and served as a naval officer in World War II. He graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mr. Paulus was married to Joyce Blessing Paulus and together they raised five children. He was the founder of his own Firm providing consulting services to Law Firms. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Robert Paulus and Kathleen of Colts Neck, William Paulus and Carolyn of Rumson, Allyson Ely and Michael of San Francisco, Barbara Lampen and Peter of New Brunswick, and Joy Paulus and Michael of Olympia, Washington. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Daniel, Timothy, Elizabeth, William, Eric, Elyse, Margaux and Emma, and 6 great-grandchildren. A Memorial will be held at Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church, 94 Somerset Street, New Brunswick at 10:00 a.m. on Friday February 10, 2017.
