Obituary of Dorothy Kinelski

Dorothy L. Kinelski, 94, of Toms River and formerly of Staten Island and Edison, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Brandywine Assisted Living in Toms River. Born in Perth Amboy, she lived in Staten Island for 47 years before moving to Edison and most recently Toms River. She was employed with Westinghouse as a Machine Operator. She was a communicant at Guardian Angels R.C. Church and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, and was also a member of the Bonhamtown Seniors. Mrs. Kinelski loved gardening, reading, Bingo, and scratch- offs and was happiest caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Kinelski in 1989. Surviving are her children, Anthony Kinelski and his wife Brenda of Waretown, Frances Snyder and her husband Douglas of Edison, and Ronald Kinelski and his wife Sandra of Gilbertsville, PA; grandchildren: Heather Lauria, Chad Kinelski, Keri Gruss, Kristin Laskowski, Lauren Lucid, and Jason Kinelski as well as their spouses; 9 great-grandchildren; her brothers Walter and Theodore Rybakiewicz of Perth Amboy and sister Rita Ziemba of Brick, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Boylan Funeral Home 10 Wooding Ave., Edison. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 3 at 10 am at Guardian Angels R.C. Church, Edison. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Hospital at StJude.org or Guardian Angels Church 37 Plainfield Avenue Edison, NJ 08817.
