Daniel F. O' Leary, 75, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Born in Brooklyn, NY he resided in Edison most of his life. Mr. O' Leary served in the United States Army before being honorably discharged. He worked in retail for many years at Woolworth's and Pathmark. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Association of Third Armored Division Veteran's. He was devoted to veteran's causes and sent care packages to those serving overseas and never missed attending Army reunions. He was predeceased by his parents, his daughter Deborah O' Leary Reilly, and his brothers Michael and Joseph O' Leary. Surviving are his beloved wife of 49 years Loraine O' Leary (Regit) of Edison; his daughter Kathleen O'Leary Goddard of East Brunswick; his grandchildren: Ashley and Sean Goddard, and Veronica, Samantha, and Daniel Reilly; his brothers Edward and Thomas O' Leary and his sister Susan O' Leary. Visitation will be on Monday, January 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Boylan Funeral Home 10 Wooding Ave., Edison. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 24 at 10 am at the funeral home followed by interment at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia.
