Peter J. "P. Original" Yachimovicz, 38, of Edison, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016. Born in Perth Amboy, he was a lifelong resident of Edison. He, above all things, loved his family and was a devoted father to his daughters, Tesia and Sarai. He had a lifelong passion for creating his own music and shared it with his many friends and collaborators, near and far. Peter was employed by Cross Country Power Sports, Metuchen, since the establishment opened and considered the people there his work family. Peter was predeceased by his father, Peter J. Yachimovicz,Sr.; his grandparents, Peter and Anne Yachimovicz and Theodore and Gloria Renda; his aunt Helen Malone, and uncle Joseph Yachimovicz. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Abraham Yachimovicz; his mother, Candace Renda Yachimovicz; his brother, Ted Yachimovicz and his wife, Jessica; his aunts and uncle, Karin Taciak and Carol and Jim Whalen; and a niece, Madeline Yachimovicz. His many cousins included Steven Taciak, Donna Gervasi, Cathy Santacroce, Jimmy Whalen, Cathy Ann Plank, Carrie Smith, Missy Thomas, Heather Whalen Sowder, Joe Yachimovicz, John Yachimovicz, and Julie Yachimovicz. He was especially close to Steven, Kathy Ann, Missy, and Heather and considered them more than cousins. Peter will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday December 29, 2016 from 4-8PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison and Friday December 30, from 9:30AM until the Funeral Service at 10AM. Cremation will be private.
