Obituary of Jan Pyka

Jan Pyka, of Edison, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2016 at the Reform Church Nursing Home in Old Bridge. Born in Poland on June 20, 1922, Jan came to the United States with his family in 1962. He lived in Williamsburg, Brooklyn from 1962-1970 before residing in Edison for 46 years. Jan worked for Mobil Chemical Company as a fork truck driver from 1970 to 1986 before his retirement in 1986. Jan is predeceased by his first wife Wanda Pyke, Son George and Grandson Adam. Surviving is his second Wife Natalya, Son; Adam of Edison, and Daughter; Grace and Husband Bill Spencer of Old Bridge. Also surviving is his four grandchildren; Nicole and Brandi Pyka, BJ and Brian Spencer. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Monday December 19, 2016 from 4-8PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday December 20, 2016 at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, Edison. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
