Obituary of Jane Hoebich

Jane Elizabeth (Schrum) Hoebich, 90, of Edison passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at home. Born in New Brunswick, she has been a resident of Edison for 67 years. She graduated from Berkeley Secretarial School, now known as Berkeley College, and was a secretary at Johnson & Johnson and with her parent's business, Schrum Plumbing and Heating in New Brunswick. Jane was a member of St. Peter's "The Girls" Club, the Marshall Drive Club, St. Paul's Church Altar Rosary Society, Highland Park and the Mothers' Club at St. Joseph High School, Metuchen. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Jane was predeceased by, her husband, Walter James Hoebich, son, Frank Chaminade Hoebich and two great-grand angels: Joseph Keane and Madelyn Klauer. She is survived by her siblings: Bernard Schrum, Rita Klinger and Edward Schrum (Connie); her loving children and their spouses: Diane and Ronald Keane, Karen Hoebich and Michael Skero, Cathy and Peter Cerruto, Susan and Edward Generous, Jamie and Chris Liebenberg, Nancy Hoebich-Wylde and Christopher Wylde, and James and Deirdre Hoebich; grandchildren: Timothy Keane, Katie Keane Marsala, Shawn Skero, Summer Cerruto Amorosino, Shannon, Sara and Casey Cerruto, Meghan Generous Klauer, Mathew Generous, Heidi, Haley and Holly Liebenberg, Christopher, Elizabeth and Victoria Wylde, James and Maeve Hoebich; along with seven great-grandchildren, Emily and Timothy Keane, Ryan and Elise Marsala, and Edward, John and Benjamin Klauer. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 7-9 PM and Tuesday, December 20, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 10AM at St. Paul's Church, Highland Park. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick.
