Robert Lemongelli, 69, of Edison passed away Saturday December 3, 2016 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. He was a Carpenter with Local #1006 in Milltown. Robert always volunteered to support his son. He was a Piscataway Little League Coach and a Pit Crew member for the Piscataway Super Chiefs Marching Band and the Edison High School Marching Band. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, playing Texas Holdem and taking trips to Atlantic City. Robert was always there to help someone, and will be missed for his sick sense of humor. Robert was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Anna Lemongelli his brothers, Vito, John and Russell Lemongelli; and his mother and father-in-law, John and Marie Balistreri. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Lemongelli; son Michael Lemongelli and his girlfriend Mallory Kane; brothers, Ralph, Thomas and Richard Lemongelli; sister-in-laws, Joan Fifick and her husband Mark and Peggy Fabiano; along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Robert's family would like to thank Lisa Doll for all her help and support. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday December 8, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison, and Friday 9AM at the funeral home with a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, Edison. Cremation will be private.
