Laurence W. Bent, 67, of Highland Park passed away at home. Born in New Brunswick, he also lived in Old Bridge before moving to Highland Park. Mr. Bent had been employed with Ford Motor Company in Edison and most recently by the City of New Brunswick Parking Authority. He was an avid fan of the Yankees and was a collector of baseball cards. He was predeceased by his parents George E. Bent II in 2010 and Eleanor Bent in 1994. Surviving are his brother George E. Bent III and his wife Brenda of Lopatcong; his nephew Michael Bent and his wife Kristine of Milford; and his great-niece Lauren Bent. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Boylan Funeral Home 188 Easton Ave., New Brunswick
