Lucy A. Severino, 91, of Edison passed away Sunday November 6, 2016 at home. Born in Edison, she lived in New Brunswick for a short while, before returning to Edison 54 years ago. Lucy was a secretary for Raritan Oil before becoming a full time homemaker. She loved the Yankees, her beloved cat Cookie, and cooking for her family - especially those Sunday dinners. Lucy's most cherished gifts were the love she gave to her children and grandchildren. Lucy's cheery outlook on life, her bright smile and laugh will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Lucy was predeceased by her husband and love of her life Mario Severino in 2000; her parents, Joseph and Angelina Mastrocola; and her brother, Frank Mastrocola. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Mario J. and Peggy Severino of Murrells Inlet SC, Matthew A. and Lisa Severino of Clinton and Suzanne J. and Gary Cushman of East Brunswick; along with 9 grandchildren (Matthew, Anthony, Brett, Tara, Jessica, Danny, Ryan, Kelley, and Tyler) and 5 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 10AM-12PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. A Funeral Service will be held at 12PM. Entombment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
