Jerome (Jerry) N. Augustine, 81, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at JFK Medical Center. Born in Pittston PA, he moved to Iselin NJ in 1951, and has been a resident of Edison since 1972. He was employed by Permacel 44 years. Jerry was the best husband, devoted father and proud grandfather. He will be dearly missed. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara Ann Augustine of Edison; daughter, Debbie Augustine; sons, Jerome (Jay) Augustine and his wife Sandra and Anthony Augustine and his wife Krissy; daughter, Kimberly (Augustine) Caffrey and her husband Lew; and his loving sister Shirley Ann Urban. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Anthony, Jr, Alyssa, Mackenzie, Brett, Traci, Danny, Alison and Amy; his great grandchildren: Makenna, Sophia, Troy and Taylor; along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his brother-in-law Bob Urban. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 4-8PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated during that time.
