Obituary of William Eichler

William F. Eichler, 88, of Edison passed away Sunday July 3, 2016 at AristaCare at Cedar Oaks, South Plainfield, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in New Brunswick, he relocated to Edison in 1957. He was a National Guard Member. During his career of 43 years at J&J, he worked in North Brunswick, Somerville (Ethicon) and New Brunswick (Corporate) as a Facilities Coordinator. He was an altar boy, usher and parishioner at St. John's Church in New Brunswick and later an usher and parishioner at Guardian Angels Church in Edison. William is predeceased by his mother, Anna, father, William, sister, Ruth Howarth and daughter Marlene Serratelli. He is survived by his wife Arlene of 62 years, son, William (Debrah) and daughter Carol (Richard) Terry, both of Edison, son-in-law, Robert Serratelli of Pennington, grandchildren, William Eichler, Jennifer (David) Suchocki, Robert (Tiffany) Serratelli and Elizabeth Terry, great grandchildren, Andrew Eichler, David and Isabella Suchocki, Luciana Serratelli (due in three weeks) and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday July 7, 2016 from 4-8PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, 10AM at Guardian Angels Church, Edison. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in his memory.
