Marie S. Petty (née Betza), 102, formerly of New Brunswick and Monroe, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Manor by the Sea in Ocean Grove. Born on July, 22, 1913 in New York City, she was raised in Milltown, and resided most of her life in New Brunswick and Monroe, before moving to Manor by the Sea in Ocean Grove eight years ago. Mrs. Petty was employed with the Ethicon Division of Johnson and Johnson prior to retiring. She was a member of the Pitman Methodist and also New Brunswick Methodist Churches, and was involved with their woman's groups. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Petty in 1972 and her daughter Harriet Eichen in 2015. Surviving are her daughter Monica and son in-law Jerry McCutcheon of Cranbury; as well as her six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Private burial will take place at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. Arrangements are under the direction of Boylan Funeral Home, New Brunswick
