Nancy L. DeFrance (Bataille), 80, of Edison passed away Sunday May 29, 2016 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Summit, she went to high school in Springfield, and has lived in Edison for 34 years. Before retiring, Nancy was a Buyer for Bell Core in Piscataway. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred & Alice Bataille; brothers, Wilfred Bataille Jr., John Bataille, Frank Bataille, and Robert Bataille; and a sister, Elizabeth Hagetter. She is survived by her companion of 40 years, Robert Teleck; a son, Steven DeFrance, daughters, Dawn DeFrance and Jill Crain; brothers, Edwin Bataille, Richard Bataille and Thomas Bataille; sister, Marilyn Parette; along with 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday June 3, 2016 from 3-5PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. Funeral Services will be held during the visitation hours. Cremation will be private.
