Karen W. Boyd, 70 of Edison passed away Friday May 13, 2016 at home. Born in Salt Lake City, UT, she lived in the Bronx before moving to Edison where she spent most of her life. Karen was an Administrative Assistant at the Associated Press, and was also employed by Pan Am Airlines, and most recently, Target. She enjoyed playing bingo and trips to Atlantic City. Karen was predeceased by her husband, William Boyd in 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Monica Boyd; brothers, Gary, Robert and Randy Walker, a sister, Karel Wilcox; and two granddaughters, Victoria and Isabella. Following her wishes, Karen was privately cremated. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering on Friday June 3, 2016 from 6-8PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison.
