Helen F. Rush, 78, of New Brunswick, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Brunswick, she was a resident of the city most of her life. She was employed in the Engineering Department of St. Peter's University Hospital for 47 years. She was an avid woodworker and loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother. Known for her positivity and always having a smile, she will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Surviving are her sons and their wives, Jerome Kasian and Renee of Raleigh, NC, Michael Kasian and Janet of Monroe Township, and Kenneth Kasian and Linda of Bordentown; two daughters Lynn Kasian of New Brunswick and Beth Nastus and her husband Carmen of Monmouth Junction; her beloved sisters Kathleen Comito, Pauline Graff, and Elizabeth Gray, and brother Kenneth Rush. Also surviving are her 12 beloved grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14 at 9:30 am from Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue in New Brunswick, followed by a 10 am Mass at St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be Friday, May 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
