Kenneth Charles Westcott, 82, of Edison passed away Tuesday May 10, 2016 at JFK Medical Center. Born in Newark, he has lived in Edison for 56 years. Kenneth served his country in the United States Navy and was employed with Twin County Grocers in Edison, retiring in 2000. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, making wine and target shooting. Kenneth was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth C. & Amy Westcott; and his aunt, Gladys Fischer. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Westcott of Edison; his children and their spouses, Dale & Lori Westcott of New Brunswick, Lee & Nicole Westcott of Metuchen, Wade & Winnie Westcott of Colonia, Denise & Patrick Halpin of Jamesburg and Crystal & Kenneth Bowden of Bridgewater; grandchildren, Raymond, Christopher, Matthew, Alison, Tyler, E.J., Camilla and Leia Westcott, Ashley and Keith Bowden, Susan Hetzel, Angela Minton, Courtney, Briana, Broderick and Owen Halpin; and 2 great grandchildren, Hunter Deretchen and Brayden Hetzel. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday May 13, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison, and Saturday, 9AM at the funeral home, for a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew's Church, Edison. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
