Julius N. Manchise, 69, of Edison, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Long Island City, NY he was a resident of Edison most of his life. Mr. Manchise was a graduate of New Brunswick High School. He retired as Lieutenant from the New Brunswick Fire Department in 2005. He was happiest spending time with his family down the shore. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 47 years Irene Manchise in 2015. Surviving are his children Kimberly Mathes and her husband Mark of Manahawkin, and Nicholas Manchise of Edison; his grandchildren Mark Jr., Jordan, and Cortney; his sister Linda Gazire and her husband George of Ewing; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 12 pm at Boylan Funeral Home 188 Easton Avenue in New Brunswick. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 6-9 pm at the funeral home.
