Helen T. Caffiero, (née Hempsted,) of Edison, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway, she was 77. Born in New York City, she lived in Piscataway before moving to Edison 35 years ago. Mrs. Caffiero was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Matthew the Apostle R.C. Church in Edison; she had also worked for Borough's Electronics in Mountainside for eleven years. Mrs. Caffiero was predeceased by a brother and three sisters; surviving are her loving husband of 58 years, Ronald, L. Caffiero; three sons, Ronald, of Carbondale, PA, Joseph and Paul, both of Edison; four grandchildren, Ryan, Tara, Joseph and Heather; and four great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Audrey, Brooklyn and Brady. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison, at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge, NJ. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 26, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
