Theresa "Terri" Zarrella, 80, of Somerset passed away Wednesday December 23, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Franklin Township, she lived in New Brunswick for 49 years before moving to Somerset. Terri was a Secretary for the New Brunswick Board of Education for 17 years. Prior to that she worked for Revlon Inc. for 32 years. She was a communicant of St. Mary of Mt. Virgin, New Brunswick. Terri was predeceased by her husband Dino in 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Patti Elliot of Somerset; a sister, Fran Samaritano and her husband Zeke of Toms River; brother-in-law, Carmen Biachi of Old Bridge; grandson, Paul Elliot, cousin, Terri Marano; and her daily companion, Mistletoe. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015, 10AM at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin RC Church, New Brunswick. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sunday December 27, 2015 from 4-8PM at the Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, donations in Terri's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
