Wava Gammel, 93, of Edison passed away Friday November 27, 2015 at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in New Albany, MS, he has lived in Edison for the past 64 years. Before retiring, Wava was a Civil Servant for 20 years at Camp Kilmer. Wava was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ruth. He is survived by his children and their spouses, William and Arlene Gammel of Colonia, David and Theresa Gammel of Asbury, and Susan and William Martin of Edison; grandchildren, Kelly Ahearn and her husband Joe, William Gammel, Kristi Beuaszeski and her husband Dan, Alyssa Gammel, and Brianna Gammel; great grandchildren, Carter and Colton, along with nieces, nephews and many other loving friends and relatives. Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday December 4, 2015 from 4-8PM at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison. A funeral service will be held at 7PM. Cremation will be private.
