Obituary of Thomas Kolesar

Thomas F. Kolesar Jr., 82, of Edison, passed away Thursday October 22, 2015 at JFK Hartwyck, Edison. He was born and raised in Perth Amboy and lived in Edison, before moving to Monroe, then back to Edison in 2013. Thomas was a Chemical Operator at Rhodia in New Brunswick. He served his country in the United States Army, stationed in Germany. He was a member of the Father's Club and involved in Bingo at St. Matthew's Church, where he also taught CCD. Thomas coached the Edison Angel's softball team and loved the Yankees and the Detroit Red Wings. Thomas is predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret, and a son, Thomas. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Michael and Darlene Kolesar of Boalsburg, PA, Carol and Ronald Brooks of Edison, and Karyn and John Bevard of Clark-Summit, PA; brothers, Robert Kolesar and his wife Joan of North Brunswick and Bill Kolesar and his companion Barbara of Monmouth Junction; 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Lauren, Peter, Christopher, Cathy, Lisa, Nick, Kim, Michael, David, Karrie, and Liz, and 4 great grandchildren, Katie, Andrew, Luke, and Emma. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015, 9AM at Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave., Edison followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew the Apostle RC Church. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the funeral home.
