Obituary of Frances McKenzie

Fran, born on September 17, 1932 to Thomas and Mary Evanowski, passed away on September 18, 2015, just hours after having a joyous 83rd birthday celebration in her Hillsborough home where she and her loving husband John J. ("Jack") McKenzie lived for the past 18 years. Previously, Fran and Jack lived in New Brunswick where they raised their five daughters, Eileen Rolon and husband Efrain of East Windsor, Marianne Morse and husband Stephen of Sea Bright, Margaret DeAngelis and husband Mario of Ringoes, Jacqueline McKenzie of Hillsborough and John Curcio of North Brunswick, Ellie Miller and her husband Scott of Somerset. They were blessed with 11 grandchildren, Anthony D. Barber and wife Claribel, Michael Barber, J.C. Curcio, Alexandra DeAngelis, Emmi Morse, Gregory DeAngelis, Kevin Curcio, Jeffery Morse, Matthew, Zachary and Jake Miller; and two great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Victoria Barber. Fran was a loving wife and mother and her joy in life was caring for and being with her family. She held a very special love for all in the extended Evanowski and McKenzie families. Fran will be deeply missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 am Wednesday September 23rd at St, Peter's R.C. Church in New Brunswick followed by entombment at St. Peter's Mausoleum. Family and friends may pay their respects Tuesday September 22nd 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Boylan Funeral Home 188 Easton Ave. New Brunswick.
