Born in Summit, NJ, she was a resident of Edison for most of her life. Mary loved giving back to her community, which included the Millpointe Condominiums, Unilever, the Woodbridge Club, Avionic Instruments and Keller-Williams, just to name a few. She was passionate about cooking and was well known for her award-winning chili, homemade BBQ sauce and pistachio cake. Mary was predeceased by her beloved mother, Lai Eng, and father, Jack Eng. She is survived by her two brothers, James and John; and her sister Jean. Mary had always been motivated and after graduating from Mercyhurst College in PA, she eventually found a company she called home at Unilever HPC NA. Her co-workers gave her the nickname "Mama Eng" because of her kind-hearted advice and phenomenal cooked dishes. She was also known as a motherly figure in her neighborhood, Millpointe Condominiums, formerly known as Northridge, where she held the role of president. Mary loved animals, and is now reunited with her faithful companions "Buttons" and "Ashley"; and survived by "Stripe" and "Tiger", her beloved cats.
