Fred Lacik, 82, formally of Edison, NJ, passed away Wednesday, early in the morning, July 15, 2015, at his residence in Bayville, NJ. Born in New Brunswick. Fred moved to Edison in 1942 and then to Bayville in 1985. Fred served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a Police Officer for 26 years in Edison before his retirement; He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Fred was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Roselyn Lacik. Surviving are his beloved wife, Joan Lacik (née Mintchwarner;) his sons and daughters in-law, Fred Lacik and his wife Kathy and Tom Lacik and his wife Lisa; his daughter and son in-law, Sandy Lacik Pederson and Robert Cramer; his grandchildren and their spouses Thomas, Kelly and Joseph Reilly, Kristina and Michael Murray, Jacqueline, Nikkilee, and Dana; and great-grandchildren Joseph and Kelsey. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison followed by interment at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Visitation will be on Friday, July 17, 2015, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
