Obituary of Edward Wallner

Edward H. Wallner, 94, of Edison, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015, at home. Born in Queens, NY he was a resident of Edison most of his life. Mr. Wallner served in the United States Air Force and was a POW during World War II. He was the Vice President of Manufacturing at Oakite Chemical before retiring after 40 years. An avid Golfer, he was also a devoted New York Mets and Giants fan. Mr. Wallner was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lillian Waller, in 2008. Surviving are his two sons, Thomas Waller and his wife Gail of Island Heights and James Waller of Edison; his daughter, Christine Jennings of Edison; 7 grandchildren: Michele Zincone and her husband Michael, Jill Kane, and Nicole, Ryan, Drew, Brianne, and Nick Waller, as well as 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 3, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison. We will begin to leave the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 4, for a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service in the chapel at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway, where entombment will follow.
