Obituary of Amelia Rayman

Amelia was born in Oxford, NJ on June 19, 1923, to Pasquale and Grace (Stumpo) Licordari and passed to eternal life on May 11, 2015. She grew up in Franklin Township, Somerset County where she attended Pine Grove Manor School and New Brunswick High School. During World War II and for sometime thereafter she worked in the family business, Licky's Service Station located on Hamilton St. in Somerset. Amelia also worked as a supermarket cashier, school bus driver and nanny. She was predeceased by her parents, first daughter Elena Marie, son Charles J. Bukowczyk, husband John J. Bukowczyk, her sisters Marie Calabrese, Grace Gates, Josephine Wieland, and brother Frank A. Licord. She is survived by her son Robert J. Bukowczyk and his wife Kathleen of Palmerton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 13, at St. Peter's R.C. Church in New Brunswick followed by a private entombment at Resurrection Mausoleum in Piscataway. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue in New Brunswick on Wednesday in the hour prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Amelia's name to the charity of ones choice.
