Frank Eichert, 97, of Edison, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at JFK Haven Hospice. Born in Milltown, Frank was a resident of Edison most of his life. Frank was a Supervisor with the Motor Vehicle Commission before retiring in 1983. He served with the Army Air Corps during World War II. Frank was predeceased by his son, Frank Eichert. Surviving are his beloved wife, Ruth Eichert (née Grandell,) of Edison; his son, Michael Eichert of Manalapan; 3 grandchildren, Anna Walker of PA, Eric Eichert of Las Vegas, NV, and Jennifer Crumley of Manalapan; and 6 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother Matthew Eichert. Cremation will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Boylan Funeral Home in Edison.
