Joseph J. Samo, 34, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015, at his residence in Edison. Born in Edison, He was a lifelong resident. Joseph graduated from Edison H.S. in 1998, and also attended Piscataway Vo-Tech. Jay received a Congressional Recognition Award and a Certificate of Achievement from the Middlesex County School Board. Jay had a great sense of humor and loved to fish. Joseph was predeceased by his mother, Frances Ondeyka; his grandparents, John, Sr.. and Cora Ondeyka and Joe and Marge Samo; his uncles, John, Jr. and William Ondeyka. Joseph is survived by his sister, Frances Karycinski; his, Aunt and Guardian Shirley Ondeyka, and Aunt Rose and her husband David Murray; his uncle, Joseph Ondeyka and many cousins. Funeral Services will be at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison. Family and friends may visit from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
