Carl Hansen, 87, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Edison, Carl was a lifelong resident of Edison. He was a member of the Road Department for Edison Township, Carl was also an avid music lover and played the guitar. Carl was predeceased by his daughter, Karen in 2004; his parents, Hans and Nellie Hansen and 13 siblings. Carl is survived by his wife, Dorothy Cordo Hansen; his daughter, Dorothy Lynn; his sisters, Pearl and Mildred and 4 grandchildren, Jason, Courtney, Erin and Adam. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 15, at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison, followed by interment at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. Family and friends may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, at the Funeral Home.
