Christian J. Fabiano, 61, passed away on Monday March 24, 2015, at University Hospital in Newark. Born in Battle Creek Michigan, Christian was a lifelong resident of Edison. He was a Math Teacher at Manalapan High School for 33 years before he retired in 2008. He won Teacher of the Year honors 3 times during his career. Christian was predeceased by his parents Hugo and Mary Fabiano. Christian is survived by his wife Margaret Fabiano (née Balistrieri;) his sons James and Christopher Fabiano; his daughter Marlena and her husband Brian Romeo; his brother Hugo Fabiano; his sisters Joan Dannuci and Mary Jo Jackson; his brother-in-law John Balistrieri who was like a brother to Christian; his grandchildren Gavin and Chase Romeo; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday March 27, at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison, followed by an 11:00 a.m. mass at Saint Matthew's R.C. Church in Edison, interment will be follow Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. Family and friends may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
