Nicholas Di Lieto, 92, died at home on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Born in the Bronx, NY, he was a longtime resident of Edison, NJ. Nicholas faithfully served his Country with the United States Coast Guard during World War II. Prior to his retirement, Nicholas was a supervisor at the Fedder Airconditioning Company. Nicholas is survived by his loving wife, Gloria; his son, Nicholas Di Lieto II and wife Catherine of Edison; his daughters, Karen Bannister and husband William of Edison, Dawn Cuddy and husband Robert of Somerset; brother, George M. Di Lieto; grandchildren, Victoria Malinowski, William Bannister, Jr., Robert Cuddy, Jr., Elizabeth Cuddy, Nicholas Di Lieto, III, Antoinette Bannister, Matthew Di Lieto; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. Nicholas was predeceased by his granddaughter Catherine Gaul. Funeral services will take place Friday, March 20, at 9:00 a.m. from the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison; followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew's R.C. Church in Edison with burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
