Obituary of James Koy

James P. Koy, 52, of Los Angeles, CA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday February 25th 2015. Born in Perth Amboy, he resided in Edison until he moved to California 26 years ago. He graduated from Edison High School and attended Rutgers University for 3 years. He was an accomplished guitarist and loved music and writing. He was a computer whiz, loved animals and was a health food advocate who exercised daily. James was employed as a sales Manager for Intercomp in Los Angeles, CA for the last 20 years with many close friends and people who loved him. He was a friend to everyone, respecting all races and religions, and shared his love and wonderful sense of humor with all who knew him. He was a unique individual and will be sorely missed. His memory will live on forever. He is predeceased by his father Stephen D. Koy, his paternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Stephen Koy and maternal grandparents, Genevieve and Paul Pachucki. He is survived by his loving mother Carol (Pachucki) Koy and his closest friend and loving brother, Michael Koy of New Brunswick, NJ; his uncles Martin Koy of So. Bound Brook and Paul Pachucki and wife Joyce of Monroe Twp; his aunts Genevieve Toth and husband Gary of Lewes, DE, Catherine Freeman and husband John of Woodbridge and Linda Koy of Easton, PA; as well as 10 first cousins and their families. Funeral services will take place Monday, March 16 at 10:00 a.m. from the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Guardian Angels R.C. Church in Edison. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Funeral Home on Sunday, March 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
