Obituary of George Daubert

George C. Daubert, 80, died on Monday, July 8, 2013 at his home in Edison. Born in Orange, NJ, he was a longtime resident of Edison. He proudly served his nation as a member of the United States Army. George was employed with PSE&G in a number of positions before retiring as a dispatcher in 1993 after 38 years of service. He was also a member of the Edison Light Cruisers. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Annette in 2001; parents, George and Eleanor Daubert and a sister, June Weber. He is survived by his son, George C. Daubert III and wife Ruthann of Iselin; his daughters, Lynne Daubert and her companion Carlos Machuca of Perth Amboy, Jo Ellen Toro and husband Benjamin of Edison, Susan Shearer and husband Peter of Edison, Annette D'Alessandro and husband Victor of Lafayette; his brother, Frank of Piscataway; his sister, Joan Spaloss of FL; and his grandchildren, Janine and Benjamin Toro, Edward Williams, Katelyn Daubert, Nicholas, Victoria and Josephine D'Alessandro; and many neighbors. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 11th at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue, Edison followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen. Family and friends may pay their respects from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10th, at the funeral home.
