Joseph Ferik, 79, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at John F Kennedy Medical Center in Edison. Joseph was born and raised in Fords before moving to Edison 50 years ago. Joseph, a veteran of the U.S. Army. was a Maintenance Mechanic working for Amboy Terminaling and Revlon before retiring in 2001. He was also a member of the Queen City Pigeon Club. Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Anna Ferik. Joseph is survived by his wife Barbara Ferik (née Newman;) his daughters, Karen Beese and her husband Kurt, Patricia Campagna and her husband Paul, and Susan Ferik; his brother, George Ferik; his grandchildren, Michael and Daniel Beese, and Emily Campagna, and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be at held on Thursday, March 5 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison; interment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Family and friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
