Harold R. Harris, 83, of Edison, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Watertown, NY, Harold moved to Edison in 1960. Mr. Harris served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was also a Machinist with Bristol Myers. Mr. Harris was predeceased by his wife, Laura, in 2002. Surviving are his sons, Harold Harris (Karen,) of Edison, James Francis Harris (Lorraine,) of Robbinsville, Charles E. Harris (Rick Murphy,) of Georgia; and his daughter, Julie M. Harris of Leonardo; as well as five grandchildren: Justin and Trevor Pituk and Madeline, James Jr., and Christopher Harris. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 25, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison. Cremation will be private.
