Augusta M. Baldwin, 97, of Edison, passed away Monday, February 2, 2015. Born in Newark, she was a resident of Edison for the past 63 years. Mrs. Baldwin was a Department Manager with J.J. Newberry in New Brunswick before retiring. She was a parishioner and Rosarian at St. Matthew's R.C. Church in Edison. She was a member of the Stelton Senior Citizens and enjoyed traveling with their trips. She also had a love of cooking. Mrs. Baldwin was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lawrence Baldwin in 1997 her daughter Patricia Koelhoffer in 2013, four brothers and her sister. Surviving are her children, Michael Baldwin of Freehold, Barbara Karl of Edison, and Ellen Levy of Monroe Township; her ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandson, as well as many nieces and nephews and her best friend Gladys Hartman. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison followed by an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew's R.C. Church in Edison. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Visitation will take place Thursday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
