Elizabeth Derco, 89, died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at her home. Born in Childs, PA , Elizabeth was a longtime resident of New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with New Jersey Bell and Verizon as an operator with directory assistance. Elizabeth was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph; as well as her sisters, Anne, Jane and Mildred. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Joseph Jr. and his wife Mary; her daughters, Diane and Nancy; her grandchildren, Evan and Nicole; her great-grandson Edward Michael; and her brothers, Michael, Walter and John. A Funeral Mass will take place 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, at Saints Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Somerset, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in East Brunswick. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday prior to the Mass from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue in New Brunswick.
