Gladys "Rusty" Zalinsky, 86, died Friday, November 14, 2014, at the JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in New Brunswick, she was a longtime resident of Edison. Prior to retirement she was the head teller at the Edison Bank. Gladys enjoyed travelling to casinos and playing bingo; She was also a member of the Edison Seniors, American Legion Post #35 Auxiliary, American Post #40-8, the Italian American Club of Edison and the Red Hat Society. Gladys was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward Francis "Frank" Zalinsky, and her parents, Robert and Daisey Eadie. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Donna Rumelhart and husband William of Piscataway; her grandsons, Joel Rumelhart and wife Briana, Jeremy Rumelhart and wife Tracey and 5 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison; followed by burial at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Funeral Home on Monday, November 17, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
