Sebastian L Rapisarda, 86, of Edison, died Monday, October 20, 2014, at his home. Born in New Brunswick, Sebastian lived most of his life in Edison. Sebastian, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, was a printer who worked for Bristol Myers Squibb and Revlon. Sebastian was a member of the HAM club (radio), and a member of a Barbershop Quartet. He loved music and played the piano and sang. Sebastian was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Josephine Rapisarda, and his brother, Joseph. Sebastian is survived by his loving wife Anne Rapisarda (née Maranca;) his daughter, Donna and her husband Michael McDede of Tewksbury; his brother, Lawrence Rapisarda and his wife Barbara; his grandchildren, Casey and her husband Ryan Burd and Michael McDede; great grandchildren, Josie and Sebastian Burd, and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa of the Infant Jesus Church in Edison at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014. A viewing will be held at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison prior to the mass from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. for family and friends. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Sebastian's name to a charity of your choice.
