N. Janet Reedinger, 81, died Thursday October 9, 2014, at her home. Born in Mt. Carmel, PA, she had resided in Edison for most of her life. She was a member of St. Pauls' Lutheran Church of Edison since its founding and was an active congregant her entire life. Prior to retirement she was a bookkeeper for the medical practice of Finkel, Drucker & Seitzmen. She was predeceased by her mother Nellie and father Earl Jones of Mt. Carmel, PA who was a prominent Republican leader in Northumberland County, serving as the warden of Northumberland County Prison, then as county treasurer and as the first supervisor of District 4 under the new state tax setup. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 63 years Vincent Reedinger; her sons Vincent Jr. and wife Brenda of Midlothian, VA and David B. and wife Lorraine of Edison; her daughter Tammy Badsen and husband Leonard of Edison; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday October 12. A memorial service will take place 11 am on Monday October 20, 2014 at St. Pauls' Lutheran Church in Edison.
