Claude F. Colterelli, Sr., 77, died on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick. Born in Jersey City, he was a longtime resident of Edison Township. Claude proudly served his country in U.S. Navy. Prior to retirement Claude was employed as a machine operator working with precious metals for the Degussa Huls Corporation in Piscataway. Claude is predeceased by his parents, Theodore C. Colterelli and Virginia Ann Colterelli (née Pandolfo.) Claude is survived by his loving wife Annette Colterelli (née Pipolo;) his son Claude F. Colterelli Jr. & wife Franca of TX; his daughters Virginia Ann Colterelli of Jackson and Catherine Colterelli-Pertesis & husband James of Bridgewater; his grandchildren Angela Capuano, Gabrielle Jankowski and Nikoli Pertesis; his brother Theodore Colterelli & wife Camille; and brother-in-law James McBride, (husband of his deceased sister Rosalind.) Funeral services will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, from the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. at St. Matthews R.C. Church followed by mausoleum entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in East Brunswick. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30.
