Helen J. Wanda passed away on May 29, 2014, at her home in Edison. She was born in Scranton, PA, and was a lifelong resident of Edison. Helen was a passionate gardener. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Matthew's R.C. Church in Edison. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Wanda; as well as brother, Tony and sisters, Stella, Tessie, and Sophie. She is survived by her loving daughter, Betty Ann (Wanda) Capizzano and her husband Ron of Edison; her grandson Kevin; and sisters Florence and Sr. Carmencita. Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 2, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew's R.C. Church in Edison. Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison.
