Jennie "Sue" Smith, 88, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Roosevelt Care Center in Edison. Born in Linden, she was a longtime resident of Edison Township. She retired from employment with Revlon. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert. Jennie is survived by her sons, Robert and his wife Linda of Lawrenceville, Gary and his wife Lisa of South Plainfield and Joseph of North Bergen; her daughter, Joyce Gabriel and her husband Robert Snedeker of Edison; her brothers, Francis Wahler of East Brunswick and Roger Wahler of Middlesex; her sisters, Edith Robertson of Old Bridge, Flora Kurtanick of Spotswood, Beverly Zandomenego of Piscataway and Kathleen Simons of Piscataway; as well as 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will take place 10:30 a.m. on Friday April 25th at the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Avenue in Edison, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Family and friends may pay their respects at the funeral home from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24th.
