Elizabeth Burns Boylan, age 94, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Artis Senior Living in Brick, NJ. She was born and raised in New Brunswick, a lifetime resident. Elizabeth was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Sophie Burns; her daughter-in-law, Diane Boylan; three sons-in-law, Hank Strauss, Stan Wiernik and Michael Petrone. Along with her siblings, Edward Burns, William Burns, Thomas Burns and Almeta Kish. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas of Milltown, and Michael of Toms River; and two daughters, Bridget Strauss Wiernik of Princeton Junction, and Kelly Petrone of Seaside Park; ten grandchildren, Leslie Lapotasky (Michael), Adam Strauss, Neil Strauss (Sarah), Christine LaCava (Nick), Thomas Boylan V, Matthew Boylan, Keri Petrone, Mark Petrone, Hunter and Luke Boylan. She also leaves six great grandchildren, Haiden, Avery, Daniel, George, Annie and Hank. Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 8th at 10:00 a.m. at St Peter the Apostle Church, New Brunswick followed by a burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
